After a year’s delay, the Olympics are finally on! Did you know we supply British athletes with our nutritious meals?

 

With the Tokyo Olympics officially starting last week, Team GB are looking to lead the nation towards a big medal count! As a brand trusted by athletes and sporting teams, it’s no surprise that Fuel Hub has been fuelling Team GB athletes throughout their preparations for Tokyo 2020.

1. Caroline Dubois

With boxing in her blood, Caroline is definitely one to watch. Training under a male name in her youth, the 20 year old lightweight boxer took home gold in the 2018 youth championships.

In the run-up to the Tokyo Olympics, she got in touch with Fuel Hub to help supply her with nutritious meals during her busy schedule. This has helped the young fighter to focus all of her time on the things that matter, without worrying about her nutritional intake.

Speaking to Fuel Hub, she said: “I am so grateful for everything you guys have done for me.

 

2. Team GB Canoeing

In a partnership with Team GB Canoeing, Fuel Hub has been supplying Team GB’s athletes with great nutrition over the past 6 months. This has helped them stay on track with their training as they focus on gold this summer.

Dr Terri Paulson, Performance Nutritionist for Team GB Canoeing, described the benefits of Fuel Hub meals: “They allowed athletes to optimise their nutrition at a time when training volumes were high but motivation to be in the kitchen was low.”

 

3. Team GB Football

Women’s sport has always been important to us here at Fuel Hub, and we’re happy to supply Jill Scott MBE with nutrition throughout the season! Our support for Team GB football doesn’t stop there, we have also supported  Champions League winner Lucy Bronze in the past.

Team GB’s Olympic season has started with a bang with the girls reaching the knockouts with a perfect record!

 

4. Paralympics and beyond

We also support many Paralympic athletes, including Team GB regular Jack Eyers. This commitment to para-athletes underlines our support for Team GB across all sports and levels.
